The Camp Crucis 60th Anniversary Celebration was held during the day on Saturday, Sept. 15th, 2007.  It began with a procession of banners, one from each congregation in the diocese, at a 10 AM Mass celebrated by Bishop Iker.  A free lunch was served in Roloef's dining hall beginning at 11:30 AM.  After lunch people just hung out and visited and enjoyed one of several activities, including swimming, camp tours, sports, games, hiking, fishing, and horseback riding.  Entertainment included a bluegrass band during lunch and Square Dancing with Wayne Buchanan at 3:30 PM in Roloef's.  The Celebration ended 5 PM.  Folks wishing to stay longer joined with the Old Timers Retreat in the boys' cabins.

An Anniversary Committee worked on the celebration, collecting memorabilia and historical information (and trivia!) from over the years.  A video crew got several folks to record a few memories of their time at Crucis.
