Camp Crucis has evolved over the decades. Gone are the old frame buildings (many inherited from its years as Camp Crockett) that were such a memorable part of Crucis in its early years. These have been replaced by modern structures. Part of the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth since its creation in 1983, Camp Crucis today has year-round facilities offering a variety of opportunities for people to share glorious experiences. A map is copied below.
The big news this summer has been the flood on Tuesday, June 26th. Stroud's Creek rose to 4 feet deep in two boys' cabins, and a few inches deep in several girls' cabins. A major cleanup was held on June 30th. There are photos on the Crucis website.
